Wake Up Sun, Wake Up!

It must be day 12 or something like that of not seeing the sun. It is another dreary day here in the valley. Cloudy, gray and cold with occasional mist. Our weather man said that we would see the sun today, but it doesn't look good. Jason said on Monday that if we didn't see the sun by the end of the week that we were going to the coast for lunch on the weekend. It looks like we just might be making a trip. Poor guy, he could never live in Washington or Oregon. Even Melanie is desperate to see the sun and enjoy its warmth. Wednesday, she looked at me and gestured, Mommy, lets tickle the sun and wake it up. (Just like that sweet cartoon Ki-lan). She went over to the window, and yelled at the top of her lungs "Tickle Tickle, Hello Sun, WAKE UP!! WAKE UP, SUN!!" I thought, well, its worth a try, people do rain dances, so why not try to tickle the sun! We tickled as hard and loud as we could but to no avail the sun didn't present itself!!
