Hmmmm, what could this be? How do we play America, I asked her? Mommy, you hold it up real high, so everyone can see and I put my hand on my heart and so I comply. I held up the new princess wand I purchased for her as a special little gift to ease the seperation of me going on a business trip for 6 days. And she replys, "no mommy, higher, so everyone can see"...and my little girl, dressed in a silk ruffle tutu, and butterfly wings, assertively recites the Pledge of Allegiance! I am amazed, that she can even pronounce allegiance, let alone recite the whole pledge, and she does. We play this "game" over and over several times and each time I come to a greater realization that my baby, is well on her way to becomming a little girl.
