Easter morning, came bright and early for us. Jason and I were up until Midnight finishing the floor and we had to get to bed so the Easter bunny could come. So, we decided that we would forego the
At service, we were treated with absolutely wonderful worship music! I have to go find a few of those songs and put them on my ipod. A few of them I had never heard before, but one was a story about a man, who was reading the Bible on an airplane and started talking to the man next to him about all the stories of Jesus in the Bible. It was fabulous!
After service, we headed up to the foothills or “Mountains” as Melanie calls them and joined Uncle Stan for lunch. Melanie was a pro at the egg hunt. It surprised me at first because this year she ran to go and get the eggs – so I had to catch up so I wouldn’t miss the photo opps. I wasn’t prepared for that! She is growing up! We flew kites for a bit, there wasn’t much wind so it didn’t last for long and I stood on an anthill and had ants in my pants – Melanie thought that was really funny! They were all the way up my leg and biting! Ouch! I must say, I am glad that there aren’t video cameras inside port-a-potties as it was an interesting task to take off my pants in such a little space and trying to get the ants off of me and out of my pants while trying not to touch anything, so to avoid all the germs! A video of it would have probably won a million dollars, though!
Hope you all enjoy the photos and had a good Easter too!
