So, a few weeks ago, I told Melanie the story of Adam & Eve. It was basic and simple. That God gave Adam and Eve garden and he told them they could live there, but they could not eat the fruit from this one specific tree. Adam & Eve did not obey God, so he punished them by kicking them out of the garden forever.
I am amazed at just how much Melanie will remember (she can tell you specifically and in great detail the story of Jonah, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but I was). On Sunday, I was explaining to her that I was going to be going on an airplane to Cincinatti because I had to sell some fruit to some buyers. I didn’t even really get to finish, when she chimed in with…Mommy, are you going to see Adam & Eve, and are you going to tell them that God said you can’t eat the fruit on that tree and that they should not disobey God! HA! It is hilarious. I am sure the Crosset boys would not consider themselves to be of the same status as Adam & Eve, but it is fun to think of me telling them to obey God!
So, for the next few days, Melanie would talk about me going to see Adam and Eve in Cincinatti! Oh, Lord! How thankful I am that you gave me daughter who loves to listen to Bible stories and will hide them in her heart!
Monday, she started a new Christian preschool and she loves it so much! I am thankful that we are able to send her there and next week she will be attending Awanas, where she will grow in her understanding of you! We are so blessed.
Jason took Melanie to her first day of preschool and dropped her off, she seemed a bit hesitant but didn’t want him to stay. When I picked her up, she was excited to see me but then quickly told me she wanted Daddy to pick her up too! At orientation last Friday, she was nervous at first but by the end of the meeting, she let the teacher take her picture and wanted to stay! I will post pictures soon of orientation and her first day!
