Supertastic Hucks and Hooks

We were on our way to hockey and Melanie asked if she could have 2 “Hucks” to throw on the ice.  I laughed, yes sweetie you may have 2 Pucks to throw on the ice.  Then it reminded me of two other silly mis-speaks she has had lately trying to grasp new words and such.  I promised myself that I would write all these things down and the little scenarios behind them, but I have fallen way short.  The word that got me laughing and I can’t even remember the context was “Tastic” and “SuperTastic” – for Fantastic and Supercalifragalistic!  OH, I wish I could remember what she considered “Tastic”!  And lastly – if Melanie is wearing a hoodie – you will hear her ask to have the “Hook” for Hood pulled up!  “Mom, can you put my hook on!”  Gosh I love this silly little girl and one day, very soon I am afraid, she will have perfect grasp of all these new words and I will long for these days.
