Isn’t she just too cute! We had a blast this weekend hanging out with friends. With hockey on Friday night and Saturday night and Halloween on Sunday night, we had a full weekend! On Saturday night, it was fun to watch Melanie and Tristan playing hockey during intermission, she can be pretty aggressive if she wants to be. She even dressed up in her costume on Saturday night! She is learning how to chant at the games too and even made comments about “Crossing out those Alaska Aces! We want the Condors to win!” Friday night we did win, but Saturday night was a bust.
Sunday night, we enjoyed trick-or-treating with friends in their neighborhood. We started the evening with a trip to visit RaRa and have dinner at her house. Thanks, Grandma for a good dinner! Then we went to Jennifer’s house where we met up with Fancy Nancy (Sabine) and Jesse #2 (Haylie Rose). The girls were troppers, walking all over the neighborhood and the weather was absolutely perfect, cool and crisp!
The Three Amigas! They are truly growing up so quickly! One day, we will look back and wonder, where did the time go!
Oh, and on a side note, Melanie says the silliest things sometimes! Saturday morning, she replied to me the following, when I asked her if she wanted to go to Costco with Daddy, “Mom, I am tired of looking after Daddy. I want to stay home with you!” Ha! Ha!
