Cute little story…Melanie came into our room this morning at 4am and woke us up to crawl into bed with us. Accompanying her were 3 little friends; Mr. Bear, Mr. Teddy and Mr. Ducky.
In our half asleep slumber, she crawled up in between us and placed Mr. Ducky in my arms and Mr. Teddy in Jason’s arms and of course kept Mr. Bear for herself. She even said, “Mommy, Mr. Ducky is for you and Daddy, Mr. Teddy is for you!”
She was certainly more awake than us at that moment. Jason and I both wonder, just how long she was lying awake in her bed contemplating what friends to bring with her for us to cuddle with. As we were talking with her about it this morning, she stated that, yes I carried them all, and I even dropped one and went back for it.
That is our caring little girl.
