Is there room for Daddy?

Last night, Melanie and I were getting ready for bed and she asked me if she could sleep with her babies in “her” bed.  I said that was fine, so she proceeds to tell me that “all 5 of her babies are going to sleep in “her” bed.”  Ok, so I am on board with this and she gets all 5 babies and hands me four of them to hold and she heads out of her room and says she is going to “her” bed.  I said come back, your bed is right here in your room, she says, “No Mommy, my bed is in your room!”  What?!  How did this happen, she loved her bed, now she wants our bed!  So, I let her get all situated and she carefully lays each baby down, covers them up and kisses them goodnight.  She even included her babies in her goodnight prayer.  But the funny part for me, was looking at her in our bed and realized that she put the babies on Jason’s side of the bed.  He had a good laugh, when he got home from Disaster Relief Training, finding Melanie and I and 5 of her babies in our bed!
